The Burn Table Operator reports to the Processing Supervisor and processes quality products safely and efficiently.Responsibilities:Attends all safety and training meetings as directedFollows and enforces all safety policies and proceduresVerifies that equipment is correctly set up to process the material as specified on the work order and drawingsVerifies that the material to be processed matches the work orderDirects Crane Operators in moving material to workstations as neededOperates equipment in the manner in which it was intendedIdentifies equipment issues and immediately reports to SupervisorAssists in training of co-workers as requestedMaintains an orderly, clean, and neat workspaceCompletes other responsibilities as directed by Supervisor Qualifications:2 years of experience operating plasma or oxy-fuel equipmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to read drawings and identify possible issuesStrong math aptitude and ability to accurately utilize measuring instruments such as measuring tape and caliperProfessional communication and interpersonal skills Benefits:North Shore Steel provides rich benefits to its full-time employees and their families, including, but not limited to, multiple Major Medical plans, Dental, Vision, Vol Life, Short Term Disability, and a Flex Spending Account.
