North Shore Pediatric Therapy is Hiring a Patient Scheduler Near Chicago, IL

We are looking for a Patient Schedulerto join our pediatric therapy team at our Chicago, IL center. As a Patient Scheduler, your role is pivotal in creating a great end-to-end client experience. You'll learn to understand client needs and how you—along with our teams—can harness our multidisciplinary environment to ensure client satisfaction.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am-6:00pm

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing, customer-service role.
  • You've previously managed appointment scheduling for a medical office, coordinating with professionals and clients.
  • You have excellent oral, listening, communication and self-awareness skills.

Your role as a Patient Scheduler:

As a member of our team, you will:
  • Coordinate the therapists' schedule at the beginning of each week based on clients' needs and the therapists' productivity requirements
  • Send welcome email packets to new client families
  • Review client's account to accuracy and document all client communication
  • Maintain daily volume of phone calls and emails
  • Attends weekly huddle meetings in center
  • Ensure that any service inquiries are answered and that follow-up is made as needed
