North Providence School Department is Hiring a Data and Systems Integration Analyst Near Providence, RI


Position Summary:
The Data and Systems Integration Analyst serves in a crucial role with ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of District data initiatives while contributing to data-driven decision making, improved student outcomes, and providing accurate and timely data to local, state, and federal agencies. The Data and Systems Integration Analyst will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing communication and documentation and for supervising logistics and assigned non-certified staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Direct, schedule, assign, oversee, and review the work of assigned non-certified staff.
2. Enforce relevant policies, procedures and provisions of a collective bargaining agreement for assigned non-certified staff.
3. Responsible for applying relevant performance standards, taking corrective measures to implement those standards, conducting performance evaluations, providing ongoing feedback, and implementing development plans for assigned non-certified staff as necessary.
4. Utilize independent judgment, supervisory and management skills.
5. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
6. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that workload is balanced and managed efficiently.
7. Provide support for the District’s student information systems including placing service calls and corresponding with those requesting assistance.
8. Establish and document procedures to ensure data quality and that procedures are followed with fidelity.
9. Maintain and develop reporting solutions as required internally and externally, including those required by the Rhode Island Department of Education [RIDE].
10. Create and maintain user accounts and passwords.
11. Build, configure, and maintain data synchronization for ancillary systems.
12. Provide general technical assistance.
13. Create and administer training as appropriate.
14. Collect data by identifying sources of information; designing survey and collection methods.
15. Organize information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data.
16. Resolve retrieval problems by altering design to meet requirements.
17. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
18. Prepare references for users by writing operating instructions.
19. Maintain historical records by documenting system changes and revisions.
20. Establish and revise databases by conferring with analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data.
21. Maintain databases.
22. Assist with data validation and submittal of data to state and federal agencies.
23. Assist with student registration when needed.
24. Assume other generally related responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Data Director and/or their designee.
