Being a product expertFamiliarize yourself with the various manufacturers, vendors, and products in the Christmas decor industryAttend workshops, trainings, and tradeshowsStay abreast of new and developing product trends in the industry2. Being an installation expertPartner with your commercial designers to create and/or identify the best way to install products at client locationsUnderstand and advise on electrical needsUnderstand and advise on interior and exterior rigging solutionsFollow OSHA and safety protocols and best practicesFollow local regulations and laws 3. Knowing available internal and external inventoryEnsure product and supplies availability for client installations4. Working with your sales teams to win new business.Answer product questions from your sales teams quickly and professionallyAdvise on electrical consideration for the productsAssist sales teams with pre-sales installation supportPerform product demonstrations to internal and external parties5. Documenting installation plansUse or create power plans and wiring diagrams to mock up electrical needs.Create product lists and other installation documents for use by field technicians and others throughout the organization5. Working with other teams to ensure up-to-date and accurate product information throughout the organizationQualificationsMinimum 7 years experience of consulting experience in electrical engineeringBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.Licensed as a professional engineer.Basic knowledge and experience using autocad mep (2d and 3d) and/or revitDemonstrated working knowledge of skm power tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, and/or arc flash analysis, and photometric study (visual 3d or dialux).Experience with sel, ge multilin, or similar relays.Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements.Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to travel within assigned local marketStrong business productivity skills (ie word, excel, powerpoint)Experience with CRMs is a plusOSHA certification is a plusRigging certification is a plusAdditional InformationThis position will be based out of Westchester County, NY. You must be able to report to the office daily.
