JOB TITLE: Domestic Logistics / Sales Coordinator

LOCATION: Edmonds, WA (In Person)

IMPORTANT NOTES: The posted salary range includes estimated overtime pay. This position is heavily focused on learning our sales and inventory system (Northscope), date entry accuracy, and prioritizing tasks throughout the day. It is best suited for someone who enjoys learning new programs and has excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates must also be comfortable multi-tasking with an ability to keep up on email while also focusing on data entry precision.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Domestic Logistics / Sales Coordinator is responsible for all facets of logistics, shipment and tracking of perishable seafood sales. Enters sales orders and allocates product to orders. Prepares warehouse releases. Processes documentation for day to day sales activities. Invoices customers. Responsible for preparing domestic shipping documents and arranging freight movement. Prepares sales and shipping schedules. Reconciles freight invoices against sales to ensure the bill is accurate. Cross-trains with other sales coordinators in the department to enhance coverage during peak periods and when co-workers are absent. Maintains internal reports. Other duties as assigned.

This position is non-exempt from overtime (it is paid for overtime) and reports to the VP, HR & Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs all tasks associated with logistics, shipment and tracking of seafood sales. Reports on commitments and sales of various products.
• Enters and reviews sales orders and arranges shipment of product to meet customer needs. Interacts directly with customers on order fulfillment.
• Prepares and issues necessary documents such as warehouse releases, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Reconciles sales order and delivery ticket and resolves discrepancies.
• Works to continuously improve processes and documentation.
• Develops long-term professional working relationships with employees, vendors and customers.
• Represents the company professionally and appropriately in interactions with others.
• Maintains accurate, compliant and organized paper and electronic business records.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified applicants must be:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experienced with perishable logistics (1 years required).
• Willing and able to do this work, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Perform detailed and accurate high-volume data entry.
• Able to learn the sales and inventory system (Northscope) and retain information.
• Interface verbally and electronically in a positive, professional manner.
• Write professional emails and documents.
• Exercise critical thinking skills.
• Maintain composure under stress.
• Perform math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Calculate percentages.
• Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform accurate and timely work independently.
• Assist other sales coordinators during peak seasons.
• Follow verbal and/or written directions.
• Work additional hours as needed during peak seasons.
• Reliable transportation and a reasonable commute to downtown Edmonds, as this position requires work to be performed in the office full time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
