Position Purpose:

• The Registered Nurse functions as a member of Surgical Services workforce and is responsible for the delivering high quality healthcare during all aspects of Pre and Post - Operative Care.
• The Registered Nurse uses the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, patient education and discharge planning needs. 
• Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. 
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Reports to the Clinical Coordinator and/or Surgical Services Director.

Requirements:

• FL RN license
• Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
• BLS & ACLS certifications through ARC or AHA
• experience is preferred
