Interact with internal and external staff to promote the hospitals mission and visionService

Assist Pharmacist in filling medication orders according to policy and proceduresDeliver medications

Perform required record keepingQuality

Perform monthly review of inventory for out of date medicationsFinancial

Responsible for monitory medication inventory levelsResponsible for checking in medication shipmentsResponsible for notifying appropriate personnel of supply needsResponsible for repacking bulk medications into unit dose packaging

Responsible for daily restocking of medicationsGrowth

Routine interaction with departmental staff and supervisor to provided improvements to the medication processRequirements

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; requiredMust be currently registered or seeking registration (30 days from hire to complete) with the State Board of Pharmacy;
• requiredMust be currently certified at a Pharmacy Tech by the Pharmacy Tech Credentialing Board (PTCB); preferredMust recertified before the next year registration renewalPrior Pharmacy Tech experience in either hospital or retail setting;
