Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Perform various office tasks as needed

Experience:

- Experience with dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of dental systems such as Softdent preferred
- Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and conducting dental imaging
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Portuguese speaking a plus

This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, compassionate towards patients, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Dental Assistant certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
