Job Description:

• 1) Complete duties as assigned by and under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

• 2) Following initial diagnostic by the licensed SLP Supervisor, complete specific tasks as delegated by the Supervisor.

• 3) Conduct assessments including data collection, clinical observation, and routine test administration under the direction of the supervisor.

• 4) Conduct or participate in speech, language, and/or hearing screening.

• 5) Implement the individual educaiton plan (IEP) designed by the licensed SLP Supervisor.

*

• 6) Provide carry-over activities designed to transfer newly acquired communication ability to other contexts and situations.

*

• 7) Collect data about student performance.

*

• 8) Prepare materials and maintain records.

*

• 9) Instructs individuals to monitor their own speech and provides ways to practice new skills.

*

• 10) May serve as consultant to classroom teachers to incorporate speech and language development activities into daily schedule.
