North Jersey Gastroenterology (GANJ) is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Wayne, NJ

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical record management, including filing and scanning documents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Provide administrative support, such as data entry and correspondence

Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Eaglesoft
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes

As a medical receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle various administrative tasks will contribute to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $17.88 - $21.53 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
