Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated Bartenders with 1-2 years’ experience and a great personality to become an integral part of our team! As a Marquis Restaurant & Lounge Bartender you will be tasked with keeping your area clean, making great tasting cocktails, keeping guests smiling, and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Þ Provide excellent customer service

Þ Greet customers and present beverage menus

Þ Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based upon customer’s request

Þ Ring up sales (food & drinks) – receive customers payment in form of cash or card, ensure that the funds in the cash drawer is accounted for the end of the night.

Þ Keep an eye on the patron intoxication level and respond appropriately

Þ Must be knowledgeable about Beer, Wine, and Cocktails

Þ Clean the bar and the surrounding spills and as needed.

Þ Wash pitchers and bar items

Þ Peel, slices, and pit fruits for garnishing drinks

Þ Upsell drink items to customers

Þ Restock bar (bar supplies)

Þ Any assignment given by management

Qualifications:

Þ High School diploma

Þ Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required

Þ Meets the state minimum age to serve alcohol

Þ Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Þ Basic math and computer skills

Þ Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance

Þ Strong task and time management abilities

Þ Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extend periods
