Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing NFMC's billing department and accounts receivable. Ensure that patients and insurance companies are properly billed for all services and that payments are received and processed in a timely manner. Manage and provide direction to staff on resolving billing issues. Prepare reports and provide data for management, as needed.
This is not a remote position. This position works out of the corporate office in Tallahassee, FL.
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
- Monday - Friday
- Typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- No weekends
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of college or technical school; business degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years Accounts Receivable experience including at least two years in a health care setting
- Supervisory experience preferred.
