The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to accuracy and strong financial, problem-solving and communication skills. Major tasks will include recording day-to-day financial transactions; issuing checks; preparing billing statements, financial reports, the budget and government forms; administering the payroll; and supporting the Brand Inspection program. This is a full-time position with the successful applicant reporting to the office in Bismarck. A limited amount of travel, including overnight stays, within the state will be required.
Skills:
Applicants should be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and 4D. Attention to detail and accuracy; strong accounting, organizational, analytical and communication skills; and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and to work in individual and team settings are essential. Livestock industry experience would be helpful, but is not required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have an accounting, business or related degree or certification or two or more years of office bookkeeping experience; a strong work ethic; and a commitment to the objectives of the organization.
Compensation:
