North Dakota State Government is Hiring a Remote Talent Attraction Specialist
Summary of Work
Hiring Salary Range is $4,544 - $5,720
Location is Bismarck (central office), working remotely from any North Dakota location. Some travel is required.

The Talent Attraction Specialist is responsible for leading the execution of all duties related to the Find the Good Life in North Dakota talent attraction initiative. This position involves significant collaboration and outreach with partner organizations as it relates to recruitment and relocation efforts, including serving as the liaison between the Workforce Development Division and the contracted vendor(s) that support Find the Good Life.
Duties and Tasks
Lead administration and coordination of Find the Good Life talent attraction program.
Collaborate with division and agency leadership to manage and implement the State’s talent attraction initiatives.
Develop and maintain partnerships with community and industry leaders.
Manage talent attraction database including identifying and facilitating enhancements.
Provide training and ongoing technical assistance to talent attraction partners.
Collaborate with local and state initiatives to attract and retain workforce.
Develop program specific reports.
Serve as relocation liaison for partner organizations.
Implement communication strategy specifically related to Find the Good Life.
Lead content creation for social media, newsletters and websites associated with the program.
Collaborate with Commerce Tourism & Marketing team and contractor(s) on developing and implementing Find the Good Life talent attraction strategy.
Research best practices in workforce recruitment and retention.
Develop and maintain a resource of best practices for attracting and retaining workers
Assist in developing data-driven workforce attraction and retention strategies.
Serve as the coordinator of the Recruiter Network which includes organizing quarterly meetings, managing communication, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate degree and five years of related experience OR a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience.
This role requires strong oral and written communication skills, collaboration, adaptability, creative thinking, decision-making, ability to meet deadlines and drive projects forward.
Marketing experience or training is beneficial. Basic understanding of North Dakota communities and industry concentrations are helpful, but not required.
Some travel required, mostly in-state (10-30%).
