About the Position:

We're on the lookout for a Program Manager who embodies our mission with a client-centered, community-focused approach. You'll be at the heart of our Connections Community Counseling program, leading a dedicated team in providing essential mental health services to the youth and their families facing homelessness. What We Need From You:

  • Education and Licensing (required): A MA degree in social work, counseling, or psychology with a current BBS license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC). Two years post-licensure experience preferred.
  • Skills and Experience (required): A strong background in direct services and management. Experience with homeless and displaced youth is a plus, along with excellent management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.


Your Role Will Involve:

  • Providing clinical and administrative supervision, ensuring the highest quality of care.
  • Conducting outreach to increase program awareness and engagement.
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and development of program staff.
  • Fostering a supportive, strength-based team culture.
  • Ensuring program compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This role involves a dynamic range of activities, requiring physical agility and mental resilience. Employees must be capable of:

  • Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to navigate stairs.
  • Dexterity: Regular use of hands for manipulation of objects, tools, and controls.
  • Physical Actions: Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and maintain balance.
  • Sensory Tasks: Engaging in conversations, listening, and requiring precise vision abilities such as close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception and focus adjustment.
  • Lifting: Occasionally required to lift and/or move items up to 15 pounds.
  • Stressful Conditions: Preparedness to work in highly stressful situations, addressing significant mental and emotional demands.
  • Travel and Exposure: Necessity to travel to client homes, potentially encountering varied weather conditions.
  • Equipment Operation: Frequent use of office equipment, demanding repetitive hand movements and fine coordination, including computer use.


Work Schedule:

  • This is a full-time, hybrid, exempt position offering flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our community.
