The Newport City Elementary School seeks a knowledgeable and energetic individual to teach music within its PK-6 school with approximately 375 students. The ideal candidates will be motivated and responsible professionals who love teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges. Responsibilities include: planning for classroom instruction and management, direct instruction to individual, small groups and large groups in an inclusive classroom, and oversight of paraprofessional staff.Candidates must have or be eligible for Vermont licensure in Music (3-12).
