The FacilityBased Hospice Aide position is a highly rewarding position that helps clients whoare receiving hospice care in a facility setting by improving their quality oflife and contributing to a safer environment. Hospice Aide assists individualswith personal care, activities, aroma therapy, as well as emotional support.He/she administers personal care and assistance with activities of daily livingfor patients in the facility setting under physician’s orders, assignment andsupervision provided by the Clinical Nurse Manager. Facility Based Hospice Aidemust be highly self-motivated, non-judgmental, flexible, possess excellentcommunication skills, and be able to work independently. Preservation ofconfidentiality is mandatory.
Essential Qualifications:
Obtainhospice and palliative care certification after 1 year of hire, CHPNA
