North Country HealthCare is transforming healthcare for rural Arizona as a Primary Care, Federally Qualified Teaching Health Center. General Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the overall leadership, vision, and oversight of Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT) across the organization, ensuring strategic technology plans align with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The CIO also serves as the organizations Information Security Officer, providing strategic vision and tactical direction to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information systems. As a leader, the CIO develops and maintains effective and collaborative relationships with other department leadership, external partners, and department personnel, from a focus of service excellence. As an active and contributing member of senior leadership, the CIO will serve as a strategic partner and demonstrate the ability to see the big picture in terms of consequences and scope when planning for the future and responding to problems, implementing the changes necessary for the future growth and success of the organization. The CIO promotes a positive organizational culture, is committed to quality services, and represents the organization in appropriate forums.

Required Education:
Five-year technical degree (i.e. bachelors) or equivalent experience required. In such fields such as engineering, science, computer engineering, etc. Completion of accredited security-related trainings (i.e. ISC2, CompTIA, etc.)
Required Experience:
Ten-years related experience and/or training. Five years related management experience. Experience with the evaluation, implementation, operation, and training associated with electronic health record systems. Demonstrated experience with technology infrastructure planning and strategic planning. Demonstrated experience overseeing IT risk management and security programs. Demonstrated experience with policy development. Demonstrated experience with project management. Preferable in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Certifications/Licensure
Microsoft, CISSP, CCNA
