North Central Florida is Hiring a CLINIC SUPERVISOR - OCALA Near Ocala, FL

In this role you will:

Be responsible for the day-to day operations and staffing of the clinic to ensure a smooth patient flow and excellent customer service. They are responsible for running the Work Comp dispensary, and will report to the Satellite Manager. They are charged with providing leadership and guidance to staff in order to facilitate quality patient care and satisfaction. They are responsible for preparing and reporting of department statistics and developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the Clinic.
  • Monitors all clinic staff.
  • Maintain schedules for all assigned Front Desk staff.
  • Monitor zones/office waiting room flow management.
  • Track weekly statistics and forward the totals to the Clinic Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Review stats and assist in initiating changes as necessary.
  • Completes Front Desk employee evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Train and ensure all new/revised policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Assist in handling patient complaints and ensures Quality Assurance Department is notified as necessary.
  • Ensure all Clinic Services employees are being cross-trained.
  • Verifies and approves daily batches.
  • Ensures bank deposits are made daily.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining departmental hats including tests and directions.
  • Ensures Clinic and Operations Leads are maintaining proper stock of prep items, and office and medical supplies at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring cash box and petty cash is secured and accurate.
  • Handle all departmental and employee issues as needed.
  • Attends monthly meetings with the Clinic Services Director.
  • Conducts bi-weekly meetings with assigned employees, to include agenda and minutes turned in to Satellite Manager.
  • Completes monthly audits of the department.
  • Ensures office cleanliness by random audits for compliance.
  • Establish and enforces OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
  • Reviews weekly/monthly Clinic Lead reports to ensure all medications are up to date and expired or used medications are replaced.
  • Monitors stock and distribution of medical instruments.
  • Serves as a member of the Emergency Medical Response and Violence Response Teams.
  • Acts as a clinical coordinator between staff, physicians and administration.
  • Assists Satellite Manager with new employee interviews.
  • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
  • All other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in related medical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
