Summary of Position
NCI is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role as the Operations Manager (OM), who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations based out of the Institute’s field campus in North Cascades National Park at the Institute’s Environmental Learning Center (ELC). The OM position requires a sharp operations mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity. This person is required to be highly skilled in facilities knowledge, finance, and customer service, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the operations team. The OM also collaborates with many staff, partners, volunteers, and requires a high degree of initiative, independence and professionalism. This position is required to live on site and is scheduled according to operational needs. The jobsite is a remote National Park which can experience snow-covered roads, avalanches, wildfire, smoke, wild animals, and flooding. This is a regular, full-time, position supervised by the Operations Director.

This is a regular, full-time, exempt position. The salary is $68,000- $70,000 annually, and final salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The job location for this position is at the Environmental Learning Center.
