Description

Event bartenders are responsible for providing top-notch hospitality to guests by greeting, serving, and helping guests navigate the event space. Event bartenders will set up, run, and break down the event bar according to that event’s specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcome
• Set-up, serve, and/or breakdown events, as assigned
• Prepare beverages by following recipes
• Maintain assigned area, refilling items as necessary
• Keep assigned area neat and clean during service
• Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items
• Be attentive to customer's needs to ensure an excellent experience, resolve complaints
• Exhibit a proactive work attitude day in and day out
• Communicate clearly and work effectively with other team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Great customer service skills
• Flexible schedule, must be available evenings and weekends
• Able to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of beverages frequently weighing up to 20 lbs
• Reliable transportation, dependable phone, and a secure email account
• Service industry experience (preferred) 
• RASP certification or ServSafe certification
