Minimum:
Bachelors' degree required in Education, Counseling, STEM disciplines or a related field
Expertise in using excel, Word, Canva, Powerpoint, and Adobe
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Education, Counseling, or STEM related discipline

The Program Support Specialist will support Black epiSTEMologies, a multi-institutional collaborative research team. The applicant will support the North Carolina A&T site located in Greensboro, NC for the National Science Foundation funded project entitled Examining Blackness in Postsecondary STEM Education through a Multidimensional-Multiplicative Lens. The appointment is part-time, time-limited, and will commence in the Summer 2024. Position responsibilities encompass administrative tasks, including but not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, and coordinating focus groups and interviews for the research. The program support specialist will also collaborate with members of the Black epiSTEMologies research team to plan meetings and professional development, assist in booking meetings and assist with the facilitation of mentoring and research meetings with the doctoral, master's, and undergraduate students. The Program Support Specialist will also assist with managing the NC A&T site's social media. As part of the position, the successful candidate will receive career development and mentoring support to develop their personal research that aligns with the broader goals of the Black epiSTEMologies research team
