Toddler Teacher

North Broadway Children's Center is looking for experienced and qualified teachers to join our center! We are currently hiring for a full-time position in our toddler classroom, 18 months to 3 years. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 10-6. NBCC Teachers are responsible for the care and education of a group of children as a part of a teaching team. The teacher, with the active participation of other members of the teaching team, plans and implements the curriculum, works with parents and assesses the needs of individual children.

Qualifications :

• Background Check - paid for by NBCC
• Medical Check
• High School Diploma
• Direct Teaching Experience
• Understands and Follows ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules

Required Job Skills:

• Use positive guidance strategies to support children
• Develop weekly lesson plans
• Complete quarterly child assessments using Teaching Strategies Gold
• Conduct daily observations
• Provide a play based learning environment
• Maintain state licensing rules and Step Up to Quality guidelines
• Work cooperatively with teaching team to maintain NBCC standards
• Build positive relationships with families

Preferred Experience:

• CDA, AA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
• Knowledge of Teaching Strategies Gold

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
