Overview:
This experienced class provides independent, comprehensive of patients in a variety of patient care settings and precepts or leads out with clinical experience, utilizing a deliberate systematic approach leadership, experience, and holistic approaches to outcome-oriented increasing awareness of patients and patient responses in recurrent situ age, for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Ambulatory care clinics. Mandatory certifications include: active LVN license, BLS, MAB, CPI, LA City Fire and Life
Responsibilities:
1. Proficiency in front desk duties, medication administration, and maintaining accurate electronic records
2.Abuliatory skills are preferred but not required
related to patient care and services.
3. Provide assistance with inquiries such as eligibility, authorization status, PCP changes, appeals and grievance intake, and various other inquiries.
4. Assist callers in connecting with other internal departments or external parties such as partner PCP offices, health plans, pharmacies, etc.
5. Educate callers on the use of the member and provider web portal.
6.Patient education experience
7. Collect specimens and vital signs as needed
8.Patient charting
Education and Skills:
1. High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2.Minimum of 1 year in medical or healthcare environment preferred.
3.Bilingual in Spanish preferred
4. CA LVN License requried - no restrictitons
5. BLS, Fire Card ,MAB, CPI, COVID Vaccine card is required before consideration
