Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Plant Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of the Quality Control Audit and Receiving Inspection departmental processes and personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

  • Supervises the departmental personnel in their daily activities, and ensures their compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Schedules the workload for all departmental employees.
  • Leads and oversees the implementation of quality related measurements, and provides direct feedback to manufacturing and support groups concerning the measurements.
  • Supervises and coordinates the following departmental activities :
  • Accurate analyses of customer returns and initiation of corrective actions.
  • Responses to external customer complaints, including formal response to the customer.
  • Implementation of any quality systems required to specifically respond to a customer request.
  • Coordinates any sorting or rework activities at the customer location or NAL.
  • Monitors departmental safety on a continual basis, and holds monthly employee safety meetings.

Requirements

Your Background

High School diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of quality control experience in manufacturing with 3 years in supervisory or team lead role.

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
