Responsibilities

Skills Required to Make a Great Impression on Our Team

  • Provide assistance to Doctor during procedures including preparation and documentation
  • Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
  • Ability to change and remove wires, brackets, and adhesive, take impressions, take scans, prepare teeth for bonding
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
  • Motivate patients to follow doctor recommendations by carefully tracking each patients’ care plan at every visit
  • Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach
  • Motivated to learn more and provide the best patient care at all times
  • Maintain a caring and friendly environment that reinforces our company’s core values
  • Display a positive approach to teamwork in order to provide the best patient care at all times

Qualifications

So How Can You Fill This Role?

  • Dental Assisting Certification or state required education
  • One or more years of Orthodontic experience required
  • Willingness to travel between our 3 local offices
  • CPR Certification Required
  • Radiography / X-RAY certification for respective state
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
  • Clinical providers performing aerosol-generating procedures are required the wear an N95 respirator, usage of which is regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

OSHA regulations require a medical evaluation for each team member who will be wearing a respirator to ensure it can be safely worn.

Subsequent to being medically cleared, OSHA requires a fit test to ensure the respirator fits properly for protection against pathogens.

Clearing the medical evaluation and fit test are conditions of employment for all team members working with aerosol-generating procedures.
