02/20/2022 North Allegheny School District, a large suburban district in the Pittsburgh region with over 8,500 students and 1100 employees, has a vacancy for the Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education.
The Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for Elementary administrative, instructional, and support teams in setting and achieving the highest standards of excellence while aligning with the Superintendent’s vision to promote a culture that supports growth and achievement for all students.
Minimum Requirements

Advanced Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or related area, required.
Doctorate Degree, preferred.
Experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Central Office Administrator, required.
Five years’ experience as an Elementary Building Level Administrator, required.
Pennsylvania Department of Education Administrative Certification, required.
Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility, required.
Act 34/151/114/126/168 Clearances/Certifications required.

Appointment effective July 2022. Full benefit package available. Salary is commensurate with experience.
