Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among children
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures
Skills:
- Childcare experience, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting
- Classroom management skills to effectively engage and guide children
- Knowledge of special education techniques for children with diverse needs
- First aid certification to ensure the safety of the children
- Experience in infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Strong behavior management skills to promote positive behavior in children
- Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
- Previous babysitting experience is a plus
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and classroom setup
