YOUR DAILY ROLE
- Audit all food safety-related quality processes to ensure Quality group leaders and technicians are maintaining all process parameters.
- Audit product quality reports on all processing lines to ensure proper grade levels are being recorded and customer requirements are being satisfied.
- Work with the Quality Systems Manager, production and packaging staff to continually improve and maintain the quality of existing product.
- Develop a working knowledge of equipment (adjustment and troubleshooting maximizing output and quality by controlling process parameters) to support coaching and mentorship of team members.
YOUR PROFILE
- Prior experience in food processing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Associate degree in Food Science Biological Science; or a related field
- Knowledge of GFSI, government, and industry quality assurance codes and standards
- Strong Computer skills required
- Must be flexible to support business needs that include weekends and other off-shifts
