What we are looking for in this role:

• Works independently with little supervision on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted using customer & regulatory
• Designs, fabricates test fixtures and develops test programs to ensure customer and /or regulatory test requirements are met.
• Confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
• Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electrical engineering and management personnel.
• Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electrical products and
• Reviews Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and updates test requirements as
• Diagnose and repair test fixtures, tooling and hardware as needed
• Fabricates prototype components and test fixtures for production and field
• Collaborates on design improvements for more reliable
• Provides test engineering support to other engineers and production support staff as
• Performs Validation
• Develops test proposals, quotes and estimated run times for test development and production test times.
• Responsible for following all ISO quality systems and

Preferred: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
