Normandy Schools Collaborative is seeking a Summer School Principal (K-3) to support school efforts by developing and executing a shared vision and mission for enhanced student learning to achieve dramatic gains in student achievement. Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Academic/Director of EleMiddle/ELC, the Principals will support the vision for school culture and academics; support a rigorous coaching plan, and ensure that students are preparing for the next level.
Summary of Position:
The Summer School Principal will provide overall leadership at assigned campus. The Principal will supervise and facilitate the daily operations at the assigned school. The duties include working with other school district officials, state education officials, and teachers to establish and implement academic goals and curricula. The Principal will also be responsible for ensuring that student achievement is improved and that other key NSC objectives are met. The Principal are to serve as the chief administrator in implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member. The Summer School Principal will also demonstrate the necessary behaviors that support Normandy Schools Collaborative Five Pillars (Professionalism, Accountability, Collaboration, Trust, Respect).
