Willow & Thistle/Normandy Farm Hotel is seeking an experienced & talented Floral Designer Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have an eye for detail and create elegant designs that meet our high standards. The successful applicant will be passionate about creating arrangements for our customers, enjoy working as part of a team and have regular communication with our management team. 3 years’ experience working in a professional floral shop/studio.

This is a part-time position requiring 25-35 hours per week and must be available to be scheduled from work between Tuesday and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange wedding arrangements, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony sprays.
• Prep, process, and arrange flowers for the hotel and other social events.
• Oversee the set-up process for all events.
• Maintain overall appearance of the department, ensuring proper design and freshness of flowers.
• Off-site delivery and set-up
• Understand the vision of our clients & make it a reality.
• Pricing and maintaining budget.
• Drive Willow & Thistle mini van 
• Interaction with customers

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Three years’ experience in floral design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with current wedding and special event design trends.
• Passionate, with strong customer service skills. 
• Can work independently.
• Have the technical & creative skills to fulfill our client's needs.
• Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays, if needed.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Always arrives punctually with a neat & professional appearance.
• Able to drive Mini-Van 
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record 
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
