JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Inspect paper to insure readiness for machine
- Advise operator of any problems with defective paper.
- Assist in setup machine for various roll diameters and weights and sizes
- Feed and web paper on machine
- Trouble shoot for any problems in paper.
- Bring rolls and supplies to machine, using a clamp truck.
- Observe machine to ensure quality production.
- Unload and shrink wrap finished product prepare for wrapping station.
- Follow Safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
TOOLS, EQUPIMENT & MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:
Utility Knife, measuring tape, sheeter controls, Clamp Truck and pallet jack. Must have basic math skills to be able to measure to 16th inch.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Must be able to push rolls of paper, which require approximately 60 Pounds of force on a frequent basis (2 to 3 times an hour) with assistance. Work in uncooled warehouse.
