Work under conditions of a controlled environment and operate within our quality management system. Operate basic machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools (ex. Rulers, Calipers, Pin Gauges, etc.). Operate with an understanding of Cleanroom Environment requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Other duties as assigned and stated in the full job description. Helpful skills for YOU to succeed as a Production Associate I in our Shipping/Packaging Department. (helpful, but not required): Previous experience with UPS, FEDEX or DHL Willingness to learn. Qualifications for YOU to be successful: Dependable; maintains regular and punctual attendance. Basic computer and math skills Ability to do repetitive tasks, be detail-oriented, work in a fast-paced environment , and adhere to Nordson’s Safety Policy. Able to read and understand written specifications and procedures Ability to stand frequently, sit, walk and bend Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds (occasionally) This position requires the ability to work with small and delicate components using a high degree of dexterity and accuracy and requires direct contact with medical grade components.
