- 5 to 8 years' experience of ETL application development and implementation experience using Teradata and Informatica / any other ETL tool
- Strong SQL and Shell Scripting skills.
- Good knowledge of schedulers like Control M.
- Knowledge on IBM WebSphere and java is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Client SDLC processes.
- Needs to coordinate and work with offshore team.
- Proactive, responsible, and responsive (important soft skill)
- Can work independently (important soft skill).
- Technically strong and eager to learn and support new technologies (important soft skill)
- Must be an expert in script development using BTEQ
- Must have 5 years of experience in Unix scripting
- Must have 5 years of experience in Informatica / ETL tools
- Must have experience in performance tuning, query optimization
- Must have experience in health care industry
- Must have experience in building data warehouse and/or DataMart
- Must have experience with database design, data modelling, dimension modelling concepts, ETL, data development, data integration, data distribution, data quality and analytics
- Must have of Hands on experience in BTEQ, TPT load utilities, View point, writing complex SQL queries involving aggregation, OLAP functions etc., query tuning, Teradata performance tuning.
- Should have experience at Architectural level
- Should have worked in Agile development and scrum methodology
- Should have experience in Onshore offshore coordination
- Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
- Analyses highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex requirements
- Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
- Acts as an expert technical resource for modelling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
- Loading data from various data sources and legacy systems into Teradata production and development using BTEQ FASTEXPORT MULTI LOAD FASTLOAD INFORMATICA
- Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision, must be a self-starter and lead aspects of project work as needed
- Candidate must interact with stakeholders, users for requirement clarification, design an d development of ETL Process.
