Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Your expertise in aseptic technique, physiology and anatomy knowledge, diagnostic evaluation, medical imaging, and medical terminology will be essential in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance function
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer hearing tests, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry
- Fit and dispense hearing aids, ensuring proper programming and adjustment for optimal performance
- Provide counseling to patients regarding hearing loss management strategies and communication techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, physiology, anatomy, diagnostic evaluation, medical imaging, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
