Responsibilities::
- Inspect items, using x-ray viewing equipment, to determine whether items contain objects that warrant further investigation
- View images of bags and cargo, using remote screening equipment, and alert baggage screeners or handlers to any possible problems
- Control access into and out of designated areas; notify appropriate individuals of suspicious activities; may monitor surveillance monitors
- Carry out duties professionally and courteously, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements::
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and up to one (1) year of clerical and customer service or security experience; or an equivalent combination of education (minimum of HS diploma/G.E.D.)
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
