Nokomis Massage and Wellness is Hiring a Chiropractic Associate Near Minneapolis, MN

Nokomis Chiropractic located in South Minneapolis has an opening for a Chiropractic Associate/Preceptor.

Our Purpose:

Since 1991 Nokomis Chiropractic has been on a mission to help the members of our community, “Express Life to the Fullest”. We are currently looking for an Associate doctor to join our team and help us on this mission. All while providing an wonderful opportunity for the Associate to grow professionally, personally, and financially.

About Our Office:

In our office we utilize a unique blend of chiropractic, massage, and progressive rehab that includes, in-clinic exercises/therapies and a home rehab program. With this unique approach patients are active participants in their care. Not only does this help the patient get great long-term results, it also helps patients develop long term lifestyle changes and helps them understand the benefits of lifetime chiropractic wellness care.

Compensation and Benefits:

$60,000-$90,000 (Salary base, commission, bonuses)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Chiropractic adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
  • Perform consults with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients.
  • Evaluate patients using chiropractic diagnosis, functional movement assessments, and examination procedures to assess neuro-muscular and spine-related conditions.
  • Practice a variety of therapeutic modalities including chiropractic, progressive rehab, spinal decompression, nutritional support, and custom orthotics.
  • Educate patients on the quality of life and benefits of chiropractic care.
  • Provide a recommended course of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
  • Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
  • Patient chiropractic care and education
  • Building positive doctor-patient relationships
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
  • Recommend and explain details of the care plan
  • Perform community outreach
  • Build referral relationships with businesses and other healthcare providers
  • Supporting all clinical, business, and physical plant tasks and operations, including but not limited to: answering phones, taking patient payments, processing insurance, records request, scheduling patients, entering patient information, etc.

Our office manager has been at Nokomis for 18 years and my previous associate had been at Nokomis for 14 years before moving out of state. We also have a full-time front desk staff, full- time rehab/therapy supervisor, and 3-4 massage therapists.

Many of our wellness patients have been coming to our office for decades.

Our office and patients believe in giving back to our community. Every year the clinic does a couple Food Drives, a Toy Drive and helps raise money for the Minneapolis Youth Sports Programs and a homeless shelter.

Current Clinic schedule:

Monday and Wednesday Full days, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning.

Additionally, there is the potential for future ownership of the practice, as the Doctor looks to start phasing out of practice over the next couple of years.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
