SALARY RANGE: $196,644 - 244,586 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Nokia of America Corporation, Principal Consulting Engineer, (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ. Work closely with the sales teams (sales executives, sales managers, sales engineers) to position IP product within the account and drive revenue in the Americas region. Assist the Sales and Sales Engineers (Customer Team) on the technical strategy for the delivery of products based on client's specific requirements. Identify new business opportunities and develop technical acceptance strategy based on best practices and product differentiators to drive revenue. Present solutions and proposals to influential customer decision makers and communicate technical details of IP product capabilities and the specific solutions being offered to customer. Develop technical material, such as white papers, document network designs, and PowerPoint presentations demonstrating product and delivery capabilities. Provide product development feedback to product teams based on current and anticipated customer requirements. Work jointly with other departments to develop interworking end-to-end solutions, ensuring that product capabilities are accurately represented to the customer and that the company can deliver proposed solutions in the anticipated timeframe. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-Bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: Working as customer facing technical pre-sales engineer; Routing platforms: CORE, Service Edge, Aggregation, and Access; Broadband Network Gateway (BNG); Wifi Gateway (WLAN-GW); Application Assurance solutions; Packet Core Solutions (3G, 4G and 5G); Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA); Fixed and Mobile Convergence (FMC); IP/MPLS Metro Aggregation networks and IP Edge solutions, including BNG and NAT for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Providers and Cable operators; and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) for 4G/5G.
Percentage of domestic travel required: 70%
Percentage of international travel required: 5%
Telecommuting from any location in the U.S. permitted.
