Responsibilities

Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

SURFMEPP’s Senior Regional Corrosion Planners (Project Analysts) assist the Government with overseeing execution and refinement of surface ship class corrosion plans during the advanced planning and planning process. The Senior Planners provide best practice guidance and procedural training to other SURFMEPP Corrosion Planners on tracking

Mandatory Technical Requirements (MTRs) and related services during CNO Availability execution. The Senior Planner also provides quality control of SURFMEPP corrosion plans and leads as SURFMEPP’s primary Corrosion Subject Matter Expert to regional Surface Navy maintenance stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have the following minimum skills and knowledge:

• Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors. • 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience • DOD SECRET Security Clearance • Understanding of Technical Requirements of Corrosion and Structure (CCAMM / NSTM100) • Conducting database analysis for ongoing and historical trends from multiple databases (eDFS/VSB/NMD) • Demonstrated maintenance planning experience with U.S. Navy surface ship classes.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
