Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking an Entry Level Engineer to provide engineering expertise to the development, integration, updates and repairs to the components of a fast-paced Navy environment. The position requires engineering expertise in determining power requirements, optimization and troubleshooting for shipboard systems. Candidate must possess well-developed work habits, and an eagerness and enthusiasm for solving engineering challenges. Projects will include the design, documentation and testing of a wide array of systems in the areas of defensive systems. This is a hybrid position.

Required Skills:• Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan and report status• Familiarity with System Engineering concepts• Ability to work independently and interact with government and active duty personnel in the design and support of system components.• Must be highly motivated and have excellent problem solving skills• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing deadlines and priorities• Must be able to work in a team environment while completing tasks in an unsupervised and self-directed fashion• Must have current Secret Clearance OR the ability to obtain one

Required Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree or 6 years’ experience in lieu of a degree- Familiarity with NAVY shipboard power and interfaces

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
