Noblis is seeking to hire a Cloud Engineer (All Levels) with an ACTIVE Top Secret in Reston, VA

As a Cloud Engineer with our team, you will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative solutions for our clients’ immediate mission challenges. In your role, you will work with a team of software developers, data scientists, SMEs, and cyber analysts to design and develop cloud infrastructures components. You will be asked to analyze our client’s challenges and provide solutions by identifying and applying new tools and technologies and developing various types of applications. In this role you will also be asked to regularly communicate with your team, team lead, and clients to provide progress status updates.

On our team, you will:

• Design, implement, and document cloud components
• Provide insights and suggestions to existing and new cloud architectures
• Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, stability, and distribution processing of systems
• Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize systems performance, and scalability
• Work in an Agile environment to rapidly iterate with our clients

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Development/Engineering related fields
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud systems and architectures
• Programming knowledge in some of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
• Experience in DevOps, especially building continuously integrated deployment environments
• Linux, Bash, SSH
• IaC (ie Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Experience with system administration
• Experience in AWS
• Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management systems
• Experience with building scalable cloud components through cloud components like AWS Elastic Load Balancers
• Experience with configuring and administering Docker & Kubernetes
• Junior-Level: Bachelor's Degree 1-2 years of professional work experience or Master's Degree 1 years of professional work experience
  • Compensation: $76,100 - $133,200
• Mid-Level: Bachelor's Degree 2-3 years of professional work experience or Master’s Degree 1-2 years of professional work experience
  • Compensaton: $76,100 - $133,200
• Senior-Level: Bachelor’s Degree 3-4 years of professional work experience or Master’s Degree 2-3 years of professional work experience
  • Compensation: $92,100 - $161,200
• Expert- Level: Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of professional work experience or Master’s Degree 3-4 years of professional work experience
  • Compensation: $111,600 - $195,300
• ACTIVE Top Secret

* Compensation will vary based on level

Desired skills and knowledge:

• Experience working in Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
