Noblis is Hiring a Business Operations Manager Near Lorton, VA

Responsibilities

Role Summary: The CTR Contract Manager of Operations (MO) supports the Program Manager (PM) and Noblis ESI Business Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring administrative requirements are identified and completed. Oversight will include all Shared Services operations on the contract to include Accounting, Contracts, HR, IT, Procurement, and Security. The MO will also oversee, document, and ensure implementation of major business processes and procedures. They will also be responsible for the tracking and facilitation of major contract actions across all CTR Departments and facilitate CTR collaboration. Finally, the MO will be assigned and lead special projects as directed on behalf of the PM.

Specific Operations Roles:

  • Oversight of overall business operations of DTRA A&AS and/or additional programs as assigned to include Accounting/Finance, Contracts, Facilities, HR, IT, Procurement, Security, and Subcontracts
  • Provides leadership and supervisory support over the Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Coordination and resolution of complex business operations issues
  • Collection, synthesis, and dissemination of business operations status up and down and across the organization
  • Assist DTRA PM with creating, growing, and building a world class A&AS provider
  • Financial strategy, oversight, and analysis of the organization with an aim to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability and cash flow.
  • Ensure DTRA shared services team provides superior customer service and assistance to all stakeholders including customers, subcontractors, line employees, and corporate employees
  • Assist with the design, development, coordination, communication, and/or implementation of major corporate initiatives
  • Oversee proposal efforts and ensure cost/contract volumes are of superior quality
  • Lead key meetings in the absence of the Program Manager.
  • Form and maintain key relationships with major DTRA stakeholders to include COR, CO, and Executive Leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor Degree with 8 years experience, Business or Financial Management majors preferred OR Masters and 6 years related experience, OR Doctorate and 4 years. Six years of additional work experience can be substituted for a degree. 
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory experience of at least one year
  • Understanding of DoD contracts, finance, and program management systems

  • Strong and demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities in a dynamic environment

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $99,100.00 - USD $173,400.00 /Yr.
