Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state Department of Education license/certificate in the area of special education
Administrative License required (building level or Director of Exceptional Needs)
Minimum of 5 years experience in special education
Experience or knowledge of non-public schools preferred
Meets all mandated health requirements
A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and corporation policies
Respects and observes the right of confidentiality
Supports corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives
Description
Job Objective:
Coordination of special education non-public school services to ensure district, state and federal guidelines and laws are met. The liaison between Noblesville Schools special education department and the non-public school, staff and parents. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner setting an example for students, parents and coworkers by reflecting the Noblesville Schools Vision and Mission.
