Duties:

• Analyzes complex system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
• Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse existing code.
• Recommends new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.
• Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
• Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
• Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
• Reviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.
• Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:

• Experience in the following areas: product implementation and integration, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, application development, change management.
• With at least 5 years of development experience in
• C#/ASP.Net
• JQuery
• SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL
• SSIS
• Qlikview experience preferred.
• Should have experienced in an agile development environment
• Experienced in market and credit risk is desired
• May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

Bachelor s degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience or combination of education, training and experience.

NOTES from the hiring manager:

• SSIS and C# is the primary .NET technology for this role, very similar to the .NET app dev position that we filled for Mayen Yulo last summer, this new Wand manager reports to Mayen directly.
• Work needs to be performed hybrid onsite at St. Pete.
