B2B Customer Marketing Activation Manager Opportunity to be a market shaper with a leading brand… Essity are seeking a Customer Marketing Activation Manager to drive forward our ambitious plans for the Tork brand, a global leader in products like hand towels and napkins with a strong focus on hygiene and sustainability. About the role You will be based in Oslo reporting to the Regional Customer Marketing Director within the Professional Hygiene division. You will be focused on activating the Tork brand with our main distributors through both ecommerce and offline activities together with our sales teams. The role also offers the opportunity to work with our international marketing team on delivering our product, brand and segment strategies to the Norwegian market. The role is fast paced and varied with frequent launches and campaigns covering areas like data driven cleaning and sustainable hygiene. What will you do? Member of Local Management Team with responsibility for marketing, ensuring a robust ROI model in line with our sustainability goals is implemented locally. Maintain strong relations with distributor marketing teams and develop and lead the activation of customer marketing plans for distributors including all aspects of the 4P’s. Responsible for activating the local country marketing plan including localization and implementation of product and segment launches, managing A&P budget, supporting brand campaigns, managing local events and strategic prioritization of products and segments. Work with ecommerce and sales to implement digital growth strategy with distributors including shopability (digital shelf content, search) and visibility (promotions) with selected distributors. Take a coordinating roll in sales and customer training including sales conferences and fielding product questions from sales. Collaborate across the sales, marketing and supply matrix representing Norway and take part as required in initiatives driving profitable growth. Key Requirements University Degree or equivalent. 3 years experience in product or marketing management. Sales experience would also be an advantage. Relevant (ideally B2B) business understanding. Ability to work with ecommerce, digital marketing and digital tools Experienced in managing marketing plans and budgets. Strong Norwegian and English language written and verbal skills required for translating assets and delivering presentations and training to customers and sales. Some international travel mainly in Nordics is required (approx. 10 days per year). Who are you? The role is dynamic covering many product categories and segments so an ability to handle complexity and work analytically in a structured way is an advantage. Furthermore, we see that as the lead marketer in the country you are proactive, with a strong own drive for results and prepared to take lead and influence others across our organizational matrix. You should be able to formulate successful local marketing plans, follow up on results and feedback clearly to colleagues both locally and in remote teams.
