Shop Foreman Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee shop staff and equipment; Ensure that all operations are being carried out in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Ensure that production is running efficiently and that all materials and products meet quality standards.
- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Implement new processes and procedures as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of operations.
- Store, manage, and track company documents.
- Scan, organize, and maintain documents, adhering to the company's documents lifecycle procedures.
- Control the retrieval of documents.
- Train employees on records management procedures and policies.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- at least one year's experience as a shop foreman or similar
- Proficiency is MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
- A great understanding of work optimization techniques
- Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed
- Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment is preferred
