NMC CAT is Hiring an Enviromental Compliance Specialist Near Omaha, NE

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:
  • In partnership with selected 3rd party environmental compliance partner, prepares and submits required permits and compliance documents and maintains required records. Maintains and executes plans, documentation and environmental risk management in SPCC, SWPP, RCRA, Tier 2 Reporting, Water Discharge, Oil Transporter permits, Emission/Air quality permits, and other environmental areas. Creates, trains, and administers related policies, plans and procedures
  • Assist facilities in the completion of required environmental testing and reporting requirements. Review completed reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Conducts internal and external environmental compliance audits
  • Implements environmental corrective/preventive actions required in a timely and compliant manner
  • Develops and maintains current and comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory and environmental regulations affecting the business to include both current and proposed codified regulations, statutes and interpretive guidance. 
  • Assists with research, interpretation, and communication of environmental/government regulations and industry standards.
  • Assists in organizing and administering a comprehensive safety and compliance program.
  • Inspects facility for hazards to reduce the potential of loss/risk further define hazards recommend improvements and monitor compliance initiatives and recommendations.
  • Coordinates, develops and conducts environment training programs as required across company footprint
