Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP Data Migration consultant.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
• Location for this position is Atlanta, GA. This position may require travel and relocation.

Preferred Qualifications :.

• 4 years of experience in SAP and 3 years of proficiency as an SAP Data Management Specialist handling multiple projects on SAP Data Migration, SAP MM, SAP ECC, SAP S4HANA and SAP BPC.
• Leading data migration processes for Flavour Manufacturing, overseeing requirements gathering, template creation, and coordination of data cleansing activities and successful data loading in both test and production environments.
• As part of Requirement Gathering, conducting meetings with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements for Material, Vendor and Customer information. Identify key fields and data elements needed for each category. Document business rules, data quality expectations, and any special considerations.
• Develop templates outlining the required fields for Material, Vendor, and Customer data. Share these templates with business stakeholders for their input and validation. Clearly communicate the purpose of each field and any formatting expectations.
• Cleanse existing data to eliminate duplicates, errors, or inconsistencies. Ensure that data mappings align with the agreed-upon requirements. Work closely with the business to validate data accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to review the pre-loaded data. Obtain confirmation and signoff for the pre-loaded data. Address any concerns or discrepancies raised during the review.
• Collaborate with the Validation and Integration teams to validate the overall functionality and performance of the migrated data.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for Super Users, addressing defects in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Integrated Testing (ITC) phases.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for Super User training. Include step-by-step guides, FAQs, and any other relevant training materials. Conduct training sessions to ensure Super Users are proficient in handling the system.
• Finalize data loads and configurations in the production environment. Perform a final check to ensure all pre-go-live tasks are completed. Coordinate with relevant teams and stakeholders for a smooth transition to the production environment.
