CS JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the limited supervision of an Administrative Analyst 4, Procurement or other Supervisory official in a state department, institution, or agency, assists in the review, and analysis of procurement transactions, proposals, goods, commodities, or services, to ensure efficient and effective procurement; does related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years' experience in procurement through the competitive bidding process for a large public or private organization.

NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute experience as indicated on a year for year basis with thirty (30) semester credit hours being equal to one (1) year of experience.

NOTE: A Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

RESIDENCY LAW: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, the "New Jersey First Act", all employees must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under the law. If you do not live in New Jersey, you have one (1) year after you begin employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey.
